This century old home needed some love and tenderness. With three different flooring materials on the main floor, missing crown mouldings on some of the walls, and a very tired looking kitchen, it was time to bring back some of the character and charm that had been stripped away over the years. New wood flooring was added to the entire main floor to unify the space. A new kitchen was installed including a sleek stainless steel exhaust fan, a new dishwasher, new under cabinet lighting and a bright and fun backsplash tile to update the look. A chalkboard was framed in cabinetry for a fun feature the client was excited to try out. All the plumbing and wiring was updated and the walls were newly insulated for added comfort. We also updated the fireplace with a new hearth, new lighting and new paint colours throughout for a brighter, happier space overall.
