Wanting: Tim Webber’s Ottoman

My work takes me between residential and work environments and sometimes there are things that cross over. For instance, scuff proof vinyl that looks like leather can be used both in the workplace cafe as well as in the kitchen’s banquette seating. And we’ve seen industrial grade appliances crossing over into the great home kitchens of the world. In this case, an ottoman.

Tim Webber’s new design concept for an ottoman and stool series (named Duffel Stool and Ottoman) is great for collaboration spaces at work and home! I mean… we all collaborate all the time, right? I love this ottoman, especially! I’d love to see it in the family room. It’s like high quality and high design. It’s soft and inviting and I love the ‘handle’ rope detail too. Makes it easy to move around and bring it closer to your seating area. And I love love love that hard-wearing felt fabric. Love!!

So, this ottoman is basically my WANT this week!
