What we’re loving this month…
A plug-in wall sconce is the smartest, easiest way to add a touch of interest to your space! So easy… no electrician needed! Because it just plugs in to a wall outlet! Genius!
As an interior designer, I’m always looking for ways to add wall sconces to spaces. Not only are they a great way to add light (obviously) but so many wall sconces are just lovely to look at! And with a plug-in wall sconce, it’s just so easy - there’s no excuse! And you can easily change them out and move them around from room to room because… no electrician needed! Even though I love my electricians! Ha!
One of my latest loves in wall sconces is the pleated shade. This dainty detail makes a simple shaded light the sweetest of shaded lights ever. Add them to the wall above your nightstand, freeing up space on the surface! Or you can add a wall sconce to a reading nook. Or even in a hallway to add some light.
As long as you have a power outlet nearby… you can have a wall sconce! And why not make it pleated!
Option 1:
The Flores wall sconce is from Crate & Barrel.
I love the wooden wall plate and burnished brass finish. And I especially love the crisp white pleated wide cone-shaped shade that hangs for a ring.

Option 2:
The Magnolia pleated shade is the perfect little addition to a reading corner. If you can get yourself to Target, this is worth it! The proportions are just perfect for any little nook in your home.

Option 3:
And sometimes, the cord itself can be such an interesting detail in the overall design. I love the Agureli wall sconce with its angular arm and simple wooden block for a plate. Elegant and refined.
