Here are three ways to update your dining room!
Slipcovered:
This chair is actually a slipcovered chair that you can purchase from Crate & Barrel. It comes in beautiful colours and the best part (and what makes it so current) is the flange detail all around the profile of the chair. But you can create this look by simply buying a slipcover for your dining room chairs. Adding this layer of fabric can make your dining room feel like a whole new space. The fabric layer adds warmth and cozyiness. Consider adding a slipcover to just the end chairs, just the chairs along the side of the table or cover up all the chairs.
Stone:
Statement marble is still such a big trend and it’s the perfect way to add drama and an eye-catching luxurious touch to your dining room. If you have a sideboard or a console off to the side, why not top it off with a marble stone surface. Visit a stone fabricator (always such an inspiring visit) and look for an off-cut piece of marble that will fit the size of your console or sideboard. Come prepared with measurements and you’ll have a touch of luxe!
Colour:
There’s nothing better than a fresh coat of paint to change up a room. There’s no bigger impact than a brand new colour on your walls or your dining room chairs! And your dining room is the perfect place to inject deep, saturated colour! It may even be the best place to try out Benjamin Moore’s Colour of the Year for 2024 - Blue Nova - for example!
