Book towers! Not your everyday bookcase.
Decorating with books is the ultimate way to add character and charm to any room or home. They just instantly look like they belong. And sure, bookcases are a great way to display books and other decorative objects but a book tower adds so much more! I love the compact nature of a book tower. It’s just great to tuck into the corner of a room all while adding a sculptural element as well.
Option 1
One of my favourites is the Story Bookcase from Design Within Reach, which now comes in new colours! I love that it stands on it’s own (meaning it doesn’t attach to a wall) and the shelves can actually rotate around the base creating your very own unique sculptural design.

And finally, a good ol’ favourite is the Lack Wall Shelf Unit from Ikea. It’s a best-seller for a reason! I particularly love the proportions of this wall tower and how versatile it is. Books are just a starting point. You can really style up this piece and it comes in three finishes! White, iconic black-brown and a new white-stained oak!
